The Role of the University in Clinical Fellowship Education

 

Paul Greig Outstanding Clinical Fellow in General Surgery Award

 

Dr. Greig is a Professor Emeritus of Surgery at the University of Toronto where his academic and clinical focus was in Transplantation and HepatoPancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgical Oncology. Dr. Greig is the former Program Director of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Fellowship (accredited by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons) and the HPB Surgical Oncology Fellowship (accredited by The Fellowship Council). He is the past Chair of the AHPBA Education & Training Committee and AHPBA representative to the Board of the Fellowship Council. The Paul Greig Outstanding Clinical Fellow in General Surgery Award was established in 2019 to recognize the achievements and contributions of clinical fellows in the Division of General Surgery.
