Dr. Sean Crawford is a vascular surgeon and surgeon-scientist at the University Health Network. He completed both his medical education and vascular surgery residency at the University of Toronto. As part of the Surgeon-Scientist Training Program, Dr. Crawford earned a PhD in biomedical engineering, focusing on the challenges of stent graft misalignment and rotation in advanced endovascular aortic repair. To further hone his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in advanced endovascular aortic surgery in Paris, France. Dr. Crawford’s research bridges medicine and engineering, with a primary goal of enhancing the safety and efficacy of advanced endovascular aortic procedures for patients worldwide.
