Luis Figueroa
MD, FRCSC
Biography: Dr. Figueroa is lecturer at the University of Toronto since 2016. Originally from Mexico City, he obtained his Medical Degree from La Salle University, thereafter completed his General Surgery Residency at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In 2011, he pursued further training at the University of Toronto, Vascular Surgery Program. In 2016, he obtained his Royall College Fellowship and joined the Division of Vascular Surgery at Humber River Hospital.
Clinical Interests: All vascular conditions with special interest in aortic surgery and new endovascular technologies for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease.
Academic Interests:Surgical education, pre-clinical surgical training and transition from residency to independent practice.
