Jetan did his undergraduate studies at McMaster University, receiving several academic awards, before entering medical school there, as well. He developed an early interest in neurosurgery and spent elective time at several institutions across North America. Jetan has been actively involved in several pediatric neurosurgery research projects during medical school. Jetan also keeps active with baseball, hockey, and home renovations.
